BB: I believe strongly in what you girls do! I always supplement my diet with special herbs and nutritional supplements, it is essential! So tell me, how do you live your Balanced Babe lifestyle?

F: Outside of blogging, I have a full-time executive job that can be pretty stressful, so in order to maintain a balanced lifestyle I have to make sacrifices. This means minimal TV and waking up very early every day. Nowadays, this lifestyle doesn’t seem like much of a cost to me at all because it affords me great happiness. I work out at least 6 times a week, meditate daily, travel often, frequent the spa and spend most of my down time reading or listening to inspiring messages.  Some may think this way of living is selfish, but I find it quite the opposite. These activities allow me to be the best version of myself, so I can be of the highest service to others and the universe.

J: The Balanced Babe Lifestyle isn’t always easy, but it is extremely rewarding! Working full-time AND blogging doesn’t leave a ton of time for husband, family and friends, so it has been important for me to learn to be fully present in the time we do share together. Quality > Quantity. I love to cook, take daily hikes with my dog, practice yoga, enjoy tea with my mom, experiment with homemade beauty products and spend as much time with friends as possible. I believe in setting one day aside out of the week (I prefer Sunday) to get prepared. This means prepping healthy snacks and meals for quick grabs throughout the week, setting intentions and goals for work AND carving out time for me. Oh, and a glass of red wine here and there never hurts!
