Being A Balanced Babe: Running On Real Food

running-on-real-food

Hi everyone! I’m so honored to be featured here on The Balance Babe today! Thank you so much for having me, Sarah.

My name is Deryn, I live in beautiful Vancouver, BC and I’m a healthy living blogger over at Running on Real Food. I started Running on Real Food just over a year ago as a place to share my experiences in living a healthy lifestyle. It’s been an amazing year, I’ve met many wonderful people and I just love sharing and interacting with all my readers, and with other bloggers!

Something really incredible also happened over the last year, my readers and the amazing blogging community have taught me so much, motivated and inspired me and helped hold me accountable to my goals. I’ve found I’m training harder, eating healthier and just enjoying life more than ever! Thank you so much for that everyone!

[…]  “Keep your focus throughout the day with these tips: Having a solid meal plan, healthy food in the fridge and my workouts scheduled ahead of time really helps. I like to take time on Sundays to plan my week so I can focus on the day-to-day when the time comes. Recently, I’ve also taken to scheduling positive affirmations into my phone as little reminders during the day. It may be cheesy, but it’s such a great reminder and ya gotta work on that mental fitness too! I really believe in the power of gratitude, positive thinking, intention and all that spiritual good stuff. I also think writing down your goals and referring back to them often is so important to help keep your focus. Yes, I’m kind of obsessed with pretty notebooks. Okay, and coffee too. Coffee always helps.” Deryn of RunningonRealFood.com […]
