BB: I agree %100! What are your five tips to incorporating the vegan eating habits into your diet?

  1. Shop at Costco. I get nuts, fruits, and veggies there, which saves me a ton of money.
  2. Make big batches of meals you love and eat them throughout the week. Quinoa and salads are perfect for this. This way, you won’t get overwhelmed with meal prep.
  3. Have healthy snacks around. Cut up veggies and have dips and sauces around so that you can grab a snack when you’re feeling ravenous.
  4. Have healthy sweet treats around! I cannot stress enough how important this is. Many people will say that you need to eliminate sweets from your diet to be healthy. The key is to have sweet treats that are actually good for you, so that you can satisfy your sweet tooth without sacrificing your health goals.
  5. Don’t over think it and have an open mind! Many people already have the mindset that eating vegan is hard, not delicious, and time-consuming. If you go into something with a negative attitude, it’s much harder to succeed. I promise it is not hard. You can do it if you set your mind to it and take the necessary steps to prepare.
