Fuel Up And Energize For Your Next Workout With This Matcha Smoothie Bowl

One of my favorite recipes to create is a protein packed smoothie bowl as a pre- or post-workout meal. This one is extra special because it combines one of my favorite ingredients (Matcha) with a completely plant-based protein powder to create Pro Matcha protein powder from Vibrant Health! Today’s video discusses all of the fabulous benefits of the ingredients in my Matcha powered smoothie bowl (spoiler: it’s also a great smoothie to make if you’re experiencing a hangover), and includes a nifty little demo of how to create the recipe. Pro Matcha Plant-Based Protein Smoothie Bowl

 

Ingredients:

For the base:

  • 2 scoops of Pro Matcha Vanilla protein powder (also available in Natural and Chocolate)
  • 1 cup of almond milk (when using Pro Matcha use a non-dairy milk!)
  • ¼ cup coconut water
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • Handful of blueberries and raspberries
  • ½ avocado

For the toppings:

  • 2 tbsp bee pollen (optional if you’re strictly vegan)
  • 1 tbsp coconut chips
  • ½ of a banana diced
  • A sprinkle of blueberries and raspberries
  • A sprinkle of dried strawberries

  1. I love Matcha! I have not made a smoothie bowl before but I’ve been seeing them everywhere. I have not tried a protein based matcha powder or heard of one. This is perfect!! I usual would add Matcha to my smoothies or have it on ice.
    A matcha powder with the protein is a great way to fuel my workouts and give me an energy boost and would may a great breakfast too to start the day. Thanks for sharing. I’ll have to look into his product.
