Protein Avocado Banana Chocolate Pudding

I’ve got an avocado obsession and it will never go away.

The best part about my avocado obsession is that I get to share all my fave recipes using this ingredient, one being dessertssss. You’d never think that an avocado dessert would taste like an actual dessert, but believe – it does.

Today’s dessert is a protein packed avocado and banana pudding. Before you go running away just hear me out and try the recipe for yourself. It literally takes only about 5 minutes to make and all you need is a blender or a food processor. This is what I love to make when I’m craving something sweet and chocolately but still want to get some nutrients in my bodayyyy. So let’s peep n creep.

To add the protein punch – I added peanut butter and some protein powder in the recipe too. If you don’t like peanuts you can use almond butter, but I have a profound obsession with peanut butter so the flavors are just an amazing combo. OH and if you want to cut back on some calories – try out PB2 which is a powdered form of peanut butter. All you do is add water to the powder and you’ve got yourself a creamy peanut butter goodness.

SOOO the point is that you can have more peanut butter at a lower caloric consumption – yass girl yass.

So let’s break down what you’re getting in this pudding – nutrition wise.

  • Healthy fats from the avocado
  • Bloat banishing minerals like magnesium and potassium from BOTH avocado and banana
  • Antioxidants from the cacao
  • Some protein from the peanut butter and of course the protein powder of your choice – I personally love adding hemp protein powder in there cause it’s plant-based and I love everything hemp

I sweetened mine a bit further with coconut nectar, but you can use raw honey if you can’t find coconut nectar at a local store (or if you’re vegan).
