BB:  What are some of your go – to healthy eating spots in Chicago?

Freshii is one of my go to’s for a healthy lunch. It’s super quick, so it’s perfect for a busy work day and everything is customizable. I have eaten there so many times and I’m not sure I have ever gotten the same thing because they have so many ingredients to choose from. I love to go and order their quinoa bowls because they are super filling and they do a much better job at perfectly cooking quinoa than I do. I have a history of burning my quinoa or making it super soggy when I try it at home!

I also love Prasino in Wicker Park. Their food is delicious and super satisfying and even the richer dishes on the menu are healthier than the average restaurant meal. Their menu is really varied with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options (that are actually very good) for people with more dietary restrictions or specific diets. They also serve some great meat-centric dishes that keep my Texas husband happy eating there too. It’s a great restaurant because there is something for everyone on the menu here and it’s all consistently good.
