It was such a cooking adventure for the first year of Balanced Babe. We whipped up vegan, vegetarian, plant-based, gluten free, dairy free and all around healthy recipes that were delicious and simple. My goal was to showcase ideas that readers could relate to their every day meals and not feel like they were eating “healthy”. Unfortunately it is still a common thought that eating healthy means bland, boring steamed broccoli.
This is why Balanced Babe is here to break that stigma around healthy plant based cuisine! I made meatless meatballs, quinoa curry, lentil tacos, and gluten free pizza to name a few. I rounded up some of my favorites that I still make regularly, tell me which ones are your favorite!
