BB: I’ve understood from other dancers that having a career in professional ballet included many hours of rehearsal and classes. What is your typical work schedule for a week?
Monday-Saturday,sometimes Sunday depending on my rehearsal schedule I take a one hour and 30 min ballet class. I also do physical therapy; Gyrotonics and Pilates at least three times a week to maintain a strong core. Then I usually have a protein shake to heal my body and maintain strong muscles. After that, I sometimes rehearse until 6pm with a 1 hour break; it depends on how many pieces you’re in.
