BB: Are there any specific dietary lifestyles that you follow?
I’m very fortunate to have a high metabolism but I do try to eat healthy. I avoid eating a lot of sugar, especially during the day, because it can make you crash. Being low on energy can be caused by low iron levels, so I try to keep a diet with iron-rich ingredients like dark leafy greens and red meat. Plus citrus fruits like oranges (which help your body absorb iron) will keep your levels up. When I have an injury I’ll add a bit more turmeric and ginger to my diet. Both have shown studies of reducing inflammation and muscle soreness. I feel the difference so why not 🙂
I also take multivitamins; Glucosamine/Chondroitin and B12 every day especially when I’m traveling because it’s not always easy to maintain a balanced diet on the road.
