My Balanced Week: Glitzy Charity Balls, Foodie Dinner Parties & Functional Snacks

One of the many reasons I love Chicago from the months of March – October is because there are fun events and interesting gatherings almost every day! The past couple of weeks I have been hunkering down planning our 2nd Annual BeHealthful Retreat (ultra-early bird tickets are here!!), but was still able to squeeze in a couple of captivating events. Here is a peek inside my balanced week:

First up was an evening at the 2015 Red or White Ball, the Steppenwolf Auxiliary Council’s annual spring event. The fundraiser raised around $60,000 for  Steppenwolf’s nationally recognized arts education program. I was finally able to get fancy shmancy in a pink dress and enjoy a night out on the town.

Hello products Dinner at Sepia — The personable team from Hello Products threw together an intimate and welcoming dinner at a foodie-centric restaurant in West Loop, Sepia, to showcase their latest natural products. Guests relished a mouth watering dinner while connecting with the CEO of Hello and his team. We even left with some major swag (I don’t think I will ever run out of toothpaste now!).

DailyServing – I was able to try out DailyServing this week and I must say that this is the perfect healthy snack blend to pack while on the go. The blend of cold pressed juice and a surplus of vegan, gluten-free dry foods create a complete delicious snack that is convenient, and promotes mindful eating.  By enjoying their fruit, vegetable, nut and seed blend, dailyServing’s line of purpose driven products addresses such things as focus, energy, hunger management and pre- and post-workouts. It’s #BeHealthful approved!

Talking women’s wellness on Living Healthy TV – I was interviewed by one of my fabulous girlfriends on my lifestyle tips for women’s wellness on Living Healthy TV which airs on WGN. The whole segment aired this past Sunday and I will talk about the tips in an upcoming article, but you can check out the video here!
