One of my favorite recipes to create is a protein packed smoothie bowl as a pre- or post-workout meal. This one is extra special because it combines one of my favorite ingredients (Matcha) with a completely plant-based protein powder to create Pro Matcha protein powder from Vibrant Health! Pro Matcha Plant-Based Protein Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients:
For the base:
- 2 scoops of Pro Matcha Vanilla protein powder (also available in Natural and Chocolate)
- 1 cup of almond milk (when using Pro Matcha use a non-dairy milk!)
- ¼ cup coconut water
- 1/2 banana
- 1 cup of spinach
- Handful of blueberries and raspberries
- ½ avocado
For the toppings:
- 2 tbsp bee pollen (optional if you’re strictly vegan)
- 1 tbsp coconut chips
- ½ of a banana diced
- A sprinkle of blueberries and raspberries
- A sprinkle of dried strawberries
