Growing up, Egg Nog was an absolute staple for a Holiday get-together. It was that one special drink that would light up children’s eyes then quickly vanish to their bellies. Now, as the ingredient lurking investigator that I am, it is hard for me to enjoy this once close to my heart seasonal drink without thinking of all the gunk that saturates my system with each sip.
Luckily there is always a healthy alternative to every thing we ingest (like these gluten free and vegan blueberry muffins). And believe it or not healthy alternatives can actually be delicious. Today’s healthy egg nog recipe proves it.
