VIDEO: 3 Natural Sea Buckthorn Oil Remedies To Treat Winter Skin

I don’t know about you, but these last few months of winter really take a toll on my skin every year. After months of being in overly heated homes and offices, and having to face the sub zero wind chills outside, the texture of my skin just looks dry, flaky, and downright dull!

So to help bring moisture, resilience, and a healthy summer glow back to my skin, I’m whipping up three super easy natural beauty remedies using Seabuck thorn oil! More specifically, seabuck oil from one of my trusted partners, Seabuck Wonders

If you’re not familiar with sea buckthorn oil, it is extracted from the berry of a mountainous shrub that hails from Asia and Europe. It’s extremely high in antioxidants, omega 9/6, and other nourishing nutrients. I’m going to be posting a more in depth article all about sea buckthorn oil soon so that you can learn all the wonderful benefits and uses, but for now I want to go into simply ways to incorporate it into a replenishing beauty routine.

Today’s video discusses 3 ways to use sea buckthorn oil and some of my favorite beauty benefits. I’ll include the remedies below in case you want to save them for yourself, but you can also use the oil from Seabuck Wonders alone as an evening serum, cutical oil, aaaaand you can even add it to your smoothies/recipes as a nutrient dense additive.

I hope you enjoy today’s natural beauty video and stay tuned for more content on the benefits of sea buckthorn oil to come!

3 Natural Sea Buckthorn Oil Beauty Remedies

1: Stretch Mark Cream

  • 1 cup of organic shae butter
  • 2 tbsp Seabuck Wonders oil
  • 1 tbsp Calendula oil (or Vitamin E oil)

Mix all three ingredients together in a bowl, and apply up to twice a day morning and night on your legs, arms and anywhere that needs extra hydration. This is also great to use on pregnant bellies to prevent stretch marks!

2: Avocado Hair Mask

  • 1 avocado – peeled, pitted and mashed
  • 2 tbsp Seabuck Wonders oil

Make sure the avocado is mashed to the point where it gets extra creamy, then mix in the Seabuck Wonders oil. Apply from root to tips and leave on your hair for about 30 minutes. Rinse out with shampoo and condition as usual.

3: Anti-Aging Evening Serum

  • 2 tbsp Argan oil
  • 1 tbsp Seabuck Wonders oil

Simply mix together the two oils in a bowl, and massage about a pea size worth of serum into your face before bed. You will have leftover serum so store in an air tight container or a travel sized vile. Use every evening or as desired.
