BB: Your go-to healthy and simple on the run snack?
DM: My go-to healthy and simple snack on the run is usually nuts and fruit. If I know I’m going to be out of the house for a while, I’ll toss an apple and a container of almond in my purse. Walnuts or pecans with blueberries is one of my favorite combos, or cashews and goji berries, or banana and almond butter, really anything goes! Oh, and I love nut butter stuffed dates! Now that I think about it, I more or less always have a collection of Tupperware in my purse!
I also love to make energy balls and bars with simple, whole food ingredients. They’re so easy to make, they travel well for an on-the-go snack and there are so many different flavor variations to try! You can find some of my favorite energy ball recipes over on my blog.
