+ What advice do you have for someone who has never experienced movement therapy before?
Movement therapy is not simply a technique. Therapy is an interactive process which includes the relationship you have to yourself and the relationship to others. Sometimes it is very hard to understand what blocks or stops you from exploring your body, or what robs you of the joy and bliss of moving in your body. A movement therapist is someone who can help you to go past the edges that naturally occur when you want to become all of who you can be.
